From Preveza Airport to Lefkas

If you are not part of a tour package which includes transfer to Lefkas, tour operator's coaches are not allowed to take you.

There are three ways to get to Lefkas:

• Public Bus
  The buses from Preveza to Lefkas Town pass the airport but do not come inside. So you will have to stand outside on the main road and try to stop one when it passes. The service is not very frequent, so it is more a matter of luck to be there when one is passing.
  If you catch one, the journey to Lefkas Town is about 20 minutes.
  

• Taxi
  This is much more convenient. Taxis are fairly cheap in Greece. You can take one from outside the terminal building. On a busy airport day, when several flights land at the same time, or late at night, there can be a shortage and it is safer to prebook. Click HERE for details and prices.
  

• Hire Car

  The Route
  When you leave the airport, turn right (south). Follow the signs for Lefkas and Lefkada. It is about 20 minutes to Lefkas Town. From there it is about another 20 minutes to Nidri and 45 minutes to Vassiliki.
