| Although Lefkas is officially an island it is only 50 metres from
the mainland of Greece and is connected by a bridge. This makes
connections to the rest of Greece very easy. Preveza airport,
which is only 20 minutes from Lefkas, is on the mainland but only 20
minutes drive away.
Lefkas is situated on the West coast of Greece immediately South
of Corfu and North of Kefalonia (there is a ferry connection between
Vassiliki on Lefkas and Fiscardo on Kefalonia).
The port of Igoumenitsa is approximately 2 hours drive North
along the coast of the mainland, and is the main ferry port to Corfu
and Italy.
Athens is approximately 5 - 6 hours by car, and Thessalonika is
approximately 4 hours drive.
